You may need to call your Dr, especially if you start having stomach pain or vomiting, or (sounds gross) breath with the odor of stool. Sometimes when you are constipated you can develop a bowel block (stool that has become so hard and large that it actually won't pass through your bowel) and liquid will pass around it and diarrhea can develop as your body tries to expel the waste. This may be true especially if you didn't have any solid stool at the beginning of your diarrhea. This can be a very serious condition if not treated and, in every patient I have dealt with, requires medical attention and hospitalization. Good luck and I hope this helps!

I use to drink plum juice everyday and it messed up my belly. I was very gassy and cranky and ended up getting diarrhea regularly. I would not advise to drink it everyday, maybe every other and just 8oz.

For long-term use, it might be best to stick to water and fiber. Find out more here: http://best-constipation-cures.com/const...Yeah, my bro used to take it. It'll be fine, cause its just juice, but it may give you Diorrareah

You can use laxatives to help relieve the cramping you are having now, but you don't want to become dependent on them. I personally have IBS (though not from Accutane) and have to be really careful with what I eat because a lot of random stuff can cause diarrhea and/or constipation. If this is going to be a lifelong problem, the sooner you can figure out solutions to help you manage, the better! Make a food journal documenting everything you eat for 2 weeks and how your bowels react each day; hopefully you'll see some patterns and can start to adjust your diet. Another solution is exercise; regular cardio can really help with constipation. Finally, try acupuncture. I'm in my third year of school for it and constipation is one of the most common things we see; I've even treated other people who have similar digestive disorders as a result of Accutane. IBS really sucks, but it is manageable! You should consider doing something for your constipation if it lasts for more than 3 days. But since you have IBS (like me) you typically want to stay away from the laxatives. Start with drinking plenty of water! Also exercise and try prunes, apples, apple juice or anything like that. Then go to the milk of magnesia, or sorbitol. The sorbitol is super thick and sweet (they use it as a sweetener in many foods and candies) so try and dilute it with either water or juice. Sounds funny but when i got diagnosed with IBS about 8 years ago i bought IBS for Dummies, the book offers some helpful info and of course find yourself an amazing Gastroenterologist, mine prescribed me dicyclomine (bentyl) to take every day and it is amazing.

See another doctor. If you're pooping everyday and sometimes diarrhea There's no way you're constipated. Constipation is when you can't poop for days or weeks at a time. But the doctor did xrays on my stomach and everything, he said I'm really constipated. Before I went to the doctor, I was hardly ever popping, maybe like once every week or two. I have a history of dealing with a sickness and I don't eat, I hardly ever eat. And because.I don't eat then why am I having diarrhea?

if you are poooping , then you are not constipated . you seem confused about what constipated means . call doctor , explain in detail what is going on with you .

when is the last time your bowels moved? have you been eating your normal meals?I'd try the enema if I were you. Don't take any more oral laxatives - you've flogged your intestines hard enough already!

I'd make a trip to your doctor as soon as possible. Good luck!try eliminating dairy for a few days and see if that helps, you might be lactose intolerant

Hi, I would try going to your doctor about it. Keep resting, and stay close to the bathroom! Drink lots of liquid, and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg. Get well soon! Lulu

Take an enema if it hurts that much.

daily serving of prunes & a self enema should do the trick. if you still have issues, i recommend seeing a professional physician to find out if there's something serious going on. good luck!Call your doctor, he can schedule you for an enema and that will take care of it...you can try to do an enema yourself, they sell the kits at your local grocery store
