German Chocolate Cookies!! It's super easy and delicious, I got the recipe from Seventeen magazine and made them, and they turned out really well, my whole family loves them and now I make them all the time Start with: Betty Crocker's German chocolate cake mix Then add: 1 egg 1/2 cup Coca-Cola 1/4 melted butter Mix in: 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup pecan pieces spoon small dollops of dough onto a non-stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Let cookies cool Fill with 1 tablespoon Betty Crocker's coconut pecan frosting And That's All :)Ice cream pie 1 cup of heavy cream 8 ounces of chocolate chips 1 pint of ice cream (your preference) 9 inch purchased cookie crumb crust a can of whip cream Prepare crust per directions. Usually they recommend brushing the crust with egg whites and heating it in the oven for 5 minutes. This is an important step, because if you add the ice cream without brushing the egg whites, the crust will crumble. Trust me of a done this a couple of times. Let the crust cool. Microwave ice cream until soft. Put semi-soft ice cream in crust and freeze it 20 minutes. Then, take the cup of cream to a simmer on the stove, medium heat. Remove from heat. add chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Whisk it together. pour it on the pie and freeze until serving. Add canned whip cream to pie or individual slices, when serving. You can add little garnishes like chocolate chips, nut etc. I adapted this from the original recipe.
I would serve chicken agrodolce. This is NOT traditional agrodolce (which has raisins and olives) but my very American take on the dish. Just cut chicken breast very thin, dust them in flour, then mix equal parts of honey, stock, and balsamic vinegar in the pan. SOoooo good. My blog has step by step instructions.Dip Chicken in egg. Coat them with crushed french fried onions. And bake at 350 till done in a baking dish. With chicken tenderloins it only takes 20 min. Boneless chicken breast take 30 min. And bone in chicken pieces take 40 mins. Season chicken alittle with some salt before dipping them in the egg. Hope you like it. Enjoy... You can serve this with macaronee and cheese or rice or mashed potatoes.
