Try a bisquick batter! The batter for fried chicken on the back of the box will work!

try brushing them with canola oil and then drying them before baking you WON'T get the results you will get from a fryer, thats why people call them fries and they are generally fried.

Have you coated them in a little oil before baking them? that should help to crisp them up and it's still healthier than deep frying. The recipe I have calls for dunking the fries in flour before deepfrying. Maybe this is the step you're missing?

Instead of frying them ,cut them is fries coat in oil and bake them in the oven ,they are very good this way!Treat them just like normal potatoes. they make great chips and even better mash.

Take your sweet potatoes fries and coat them with a light olive oil. Sprinkle with allspice and a tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix all together and bake.

use a french fryer and slice like you would for regular french fries, deep fat fry like you would for regular potato french fries in hot oil for five minutes, dump them in a cake pan (after shaking off excess oil) sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350I made them the other night. Just cut up like fries and cook. No need to put anything on them if you don't want to. They were delicious just as they were. You can sprinkle them with Cinnamon/sugar right out of the oil to sweeten them up if you want.
